Norwood gleanings for Nov. 9 issue

Posted

Howdy,

Well, well got one holiday behind us. On Halloween, we had our first Trunk or Treat on Main St. and it was great!

Now to prepare for the Christmas Float on the 19th, a fun filled day.

The truck stop is getting real close to just having the new building open, but it will be a little white on the fuel. I found out they will be serving espresso pizza and chicken along with their regular food.

Youth deer season was a great success for many. Hubby just got back from Colorado mule deer hunting and of course he got one. But I don’t know where we’re gonna put the rack. Our house is full.

Glen Boykin is back in the hospital with flit built up and is having major swelling.

Congrats to Ben Smith and Jayden Chambers who went to state Saturday, Nov. 5 in cross country.

Kristen Whited and Wyatt are back in Memphis for Wyatt’s last chemo maintenance. He is doing great and they give God all the glory.

Congrats to John Bradshaw and Maggie on Oct. 22. They tied the knot.

Also congrats to Dayton and Michaela (Richardson) Bushong on their pregnancy.

Thought: Walmart will be closed on Thanksgiving so self-checkout cashiers can be with their families!

Until next week, God bless!
