Injuries in pair of local wrecks

A Hartville man suffered moderate injuries in a tanker trailer accident that took place at 6:55 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 9 just one mile north of Macomb on Highway Y.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crash Report, Jeffery Hutson, 58, was driving his 2009 Kenworth T800 Pulling Tanker Trailer when he went off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, went off the left side of the roadway and struck an embankment. He was taken by Mercy ambulance to Cox South in Springfield. He reportedly was not wearing a safety device.

Back on Nov. 4, two people had moderate injuries for a wreck that took place four miles east of Cabool on Highway 60 at 3:33 a.m.

Reportedly, Timothy Mullins was driving a 2020 Freightliner when he went off the right side of the road. The Winchester, Tenn. resident was taken to TCMH. Passenger Dayne Brennen, 60, of Miami Springs, Fla., did not have on a safety device and was also taken to TCMH.
