Republican women invite pastors, citizens to Amendment 3 speaker

 The Wright County Federated Republican Women are inviting pastors, ministers and interested citizens to hear Patricia Skain from Missouri Right to Life discuss Amendment 3 on Sat., Oct. 5, at the Cattlemen’s Steakhouse side room in Mountain Grove. Please arrive by 11:30 a.m. to order. Speaker at noon.
Amendment 3-allows abortion up to 9 months, allows transgender procedures on those under 18 and allows boys in girls’ sports.
Other Amendments to the Missouri Constitution: No. 2-sports betting; No. 3-gambling at the Lake of the Ozarks; No. 6-funding salaries for circuit attorneys, prosecuting attorneys and sheriffs; No. 7-only U.S. citizens vote and bans ranked choice voting. To be a law: Proposition A-raise minimum wage.
