Petina Mae Bolton

Petina Mae Bolton, daughter of the late John Michael Vance and Deanna Carol (Ramsey) Fansler, was born June 28, 1981, in Elkins, W. Va. She departed this life on Oct. 28, 2024, in Springfield, at the age of 43, following a courageous battle with cancer. Petina grew up in West Virginia and moved to Missouri in 2010. She loved football and was a loyal fan of the Baltimore Ravens. Petina enjoyed spending time in the kitchen cooking her family’s favorite foods. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Petina was preceded in death by her step-father, Ricky Allen Fansler; and one niece, Mika Marie Vance. Petina is survived by four daughters, Serenity Belknap and husband, Jacob, Heavenly James and husband, Jordan, Chloe Bolton, and Cailen Bolton; two grandchildren, Whitley Mae James and Soraya Lynn Belknap; one step-daughter, Lexi Robinson; one step-son, Trent Robinson; significant other, Kenneth Robinson; one brother, Michael Vance; two nieces, Destiny Vance and Jersey Vance; four step-brothers, Ricky Fansler, Christopher Fansler, Edward Smith and Brandon Hunt; and many other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. Funeral services for Petina Bolton were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, 2024, in the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home of Mountain Grove with Bro. Richard Johnston officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home of Mountain Grove. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Petina.
