Wright County Circuit Court cases from June
Judge Craig Carter had 49 cases on the docket on June 4 that a pair of guilty pleas entered.
Jeremiah Johns, 40, of Mountain Grove, received seven years in the Department of Corrections (DOC) for possession of a controlled substance.
Joshua Burdick, 23, of Cabool,, received five years supervised probation for possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of a weapon (possess weapon and a felony controlled substance.)
There were four probation cases with a DOC sentence.
They were for Benjamin Aiton, 41, of Springfield, received three years in the DOC; Sonny Haywood, 46, of Galena, received seven years in the DOC; Chancey Bishop, 33, of Grovespring, received seven years in the DOC; and Dalton Dale, 32, of Roby, received seven years in the DOC.
Judge Elizabeth Bock had one guilty plea on June 5.
Roy Smith, 68, of Mountain Grove, received five years in the DOC for DWI-aggravated.
There were 56 cases on the docket on June 16 for Judge Carter.
Kirk Lee Owens, 62, of Norwood, received five years in the DOC for DWI-aggravated.
Matthew Wade, 44, of Mountain Grove, received four years in the DOC for possession of a controlled substance.
Robert Finch, 42, of Mansfield, received three years in the DOC for first degree harassment.
Adam Parsons, 45, of Mountain grove, received four years in the DOC for first degree stalking (first offense).
There were three probation cases with a DOC sentence. James Hardcastle, 35, of Joplin, received four years in the DOC; Kirk Adam Owens, 38, of Mansfield, received seven years in the DOC; and Miranda Cantrell, 28, of Mountain View, received seven years in the DOC.
On June 30, Judge Carter had 83 cases on the docket with several guilty pleas entered.
Jason Bailey, 42, of Grovespring, received seven years in the DOC for second degree assault.
Elizabeth Miller, 44, of Mountain Grove, received four years in the DOC for escape or attempted escape from custody while under arrest for felony and seven years for possession of a controlled substance (two cases). There was also four years for resisting/interfering with arrest for a felony.
Lena Hutchison, 83, of Ava, received a $100 fine for tampering with the property of another (second degree).
Shania Volner, 27, of Norwood, received five years unsupervised probation for stealing of $750 ore more.
Scott Short, 50, of Vanzant, received two years supervised probation for fourth degree domestic assault (first or second offense).
Jerry Hagler, 43, of Mountain Grove, received seven years in the DOC for possession of a controlled substance.
Amanda Fitzpatrick, 37, of Springfield, received five years supervised probation for DWI aggravated.
Norma Mitchell, 66, of Mountain Grove, received five years supervised probation for possession of a controlled substance.
Jennifer Ewing, 55, of Mountain Grove, received two years in the DOC for stalking (first degree, first offense).
Caleb Pattison, 34, of Springfield, received two years in the DOC for second degree domestic assault.
Maguire Williams, 19, of Mountain Grove, received five years supervised probation for second degree domestic assault.
There were multiple cases with a DOC sentence.
Those include Zachary Rawson, 45, of Barnhart, received four years in the DOC for one case and seven for another; Cortney Meyer, 35, of Mountain Grove, received seven years in the DOC; Amber Crisp-Shaw, 38, of Mountain Grove, received seven years in the DOC; and Chase Moore, 33, of Fulton, received four years in the DOC.
