Multiple inmates sentenced to the DOC

On Sep. 4, the Wright County Sheriff’s Office conducted a transport to the Missouri Department of Corrections for five individuals who had been sentenced by the courts.
The transport included three men and two women, with sentences ranging from three to five years.
Those transported were:
•  Anthony Alexander, 46, of Springfield, was sentenced to four years in the DOC for forgery.
• Shailynn Burrow, 25, of Pagosa Springs, Colo., was sentenced for five years in the DOC for possession of a controlled substance.
• Jaime Casiano, 19, of Norwood, was sentenced to four years in the DOC for burglary in the second degree with a 120-day institutional program recommendation.
• Thomas Griffin, 49, of Mountain Grove, was sentenced to three years in the DOC for domestic assault in the fourth degree with a 120-day institutional program recommendation.
• Christina Simpson, 43, of Mountain Grove, was sentenced to five years in the DOC for possession of a controlled substance with a 120-day institutional program recommendation.
