Smith takes over for Wright County IDA

After more than a decade, the Wright County Industrial Development Authority is under new leadership as Cheyanne Smith assumes the role after Dennis Ramsey served the position for more than a decade.
Smith currently serves on Mountain Grove’s Citizens Advisory Board (CAB) and is also an owner of both the Under the Son, LLC childcare center and E. Marie’s Antique Mall and Boutique.
“I’m on the Citizens Advisory Board, so I’m familiar with our area economic development needs,” Smith noted. “…We have a lot of potential to grow…And as an individual business owner, starting a business isn’t always easy and having that insight from more than 10 years now, being able to assist new business or expansion is something I can easily assist in. It’s second nature at this point.”
Smith is looking forward to helping those looking to start up a business or expand their business in Wright County.
