Malisha’s Royalty For A Day event leads to many smiles in year two

Malisha’s Sunflowers to Spurs, along with other local businesses, had the pleasure of donating a Valentine’s Day bouquet to residents and clients of Arc of the Ozarks, Autumn Oaks Caring Center, Country Living Assisted Living and Unique Services during the second annual Royalty For A Day event.
Assembling and delivering 166 bouquets can seem like a daunting task, but the work turns to joy with the thank you’s, hugs and smiles from the recipients. Each smile is a blessing, knowing that a bouquet delivered may be a ray of sunshine needed.
Check out those smiles in the photos taken at some of the facilities during this year’s deliveries. Some facilities were unable to be photographed for privacy reasons.
This year marks the second annual Royalty For A Day event. The plan is to continue the event for years to come with local donations that are expected to help with supplies and labor. Some laborers donated their time this year and enjoyed it so much; it’s very rewarding.
The plans are being made to expand the delivery area to Cabool if that town’s local businesses can help with the donations.
Many thanks to all who donated funds, supplies and labor.
With God’s grace, we accomplished a great event. Malisha’s Sunflowers to Spurs looks forward to another one in 2026.
