Hope Rising Recovery Center opens in Grove

A new recovery ministry is taking root in Mountain Grove, bringing hope and healing to individuals and families throughout Wright County.
Lance and Alonda Jones, founders of Hope Rising, have announced the launch of a community-based recovery center located at 504 W. 3rd St. in Mountain Grove,.
The Joneses have been passionate about creating a Christ-centered environment, where people struggling with addiction, brokenness, or life’s challenges can experience transformation through faith, fellowship and practical guidance.
On Thursday evenings at 6 p.m., Hope Rising will host weekly gatherings that include a home-cooked meal, praise and worship, and a powerful teaching designed to encourage freedom and growth.
The atmosphere is open to everyone, whether you’re in recovery, supporting a loved one, or simply seeking hope.
In addition to the Thursday meetings, plans are underway for a Wednesday night women’s group called “Empowered Women.”
This 12-week study will focus on helping women overcome addiction, trauma, and every day struggles through faith, mentorship and empowerment. The ministry also hopes to launch a weekly youth rally for ages 12–17, featuring glow-in-the-dark games, food, fun, worship and messages that help students build strong foundations of faith.
Another exciting addition will be the “Fit to Be Tied” couples class, designed to strengthen marriages and relationships.
Through biblical teaching and mentorship, couples will learn to navigate challenges, restore unity and grow together spiritually.

The Joneses and the local recovery community deeply appreciate every donation and every prayer as they work to bring Hope Rising to life in Mountain Grove.
“We just want people to know that hope is alive and freedom is possible,” said founders Lance and Alonda Jones. “No one is too far gone for God to redeem. Our goal is to help people find healing, faith, and purpose — and to remind them that they are never alone.”
