Yvonne Mavis Dawn Ingram France, 85, of Hartville, passed away Aug. 31, 2020. She was born May 15, 1935 in High Wycombe, England, the daughter of Rupert Ingram and Jean Lewis. Yvonne met her husband Edward Lee France in England while he was stationed there. They married on Sep. 3, 1955 and during their 62 years of marriage, she was supportive military wife for her husband’s 26 years of service in the Air Force. Through this union four children were born. Yvonne was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed cooking and entertaining family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward Lee France; and son, Edward Lee France, Jr. Yvonne is survived by her three daughters, Beverly Meyers and husband, Buddy; Maxine Nelson and husband, Bill; and Suzanne Horinek and husband, Michael; grandchildren, Joy and Joe Stricker, Justin Meyers, Crystal and Matt Elliott, Tiffany and Joey Smith, Edward Lee France III, Donna Wallin, Christina and Lance Bennett, and Nichole and Chip Paul; 24 great grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Garland France and his wife, Marilyn; along with other relatives and many friends. No services are set at this time. Cremation is in the care of Holden Cremation and Funeral Service, Sparta.
