The Wright County Road and Bridge Department received a $34,575 road improvement grant from the Wright County IDA Board.
This money was dedicated to providing 300 loads of 1” base rock to six county roads that serve local businesses. The material is currently being placed on London Road, Baker Creek Road, Pyatt Road, County Line Road, Thornhill Drive, and Peach Corner Road. The Wright County Commission and the Road and Bridge Department appreciate the IDA grant, which financed the improvements on these roads. They thank the IDA for realizing the tight budget the county operates on and the continued rise in costs of fuel and materials. This cooperation with the IDA Board has been a big help in stretching funds and improving county roads.
