Wri-Comm 911 providing dispatch for Sheriff, HPD

Posted

It’s been a little more than four years since the Wright County Emergency Communications Center (Wri-Comm 911) officially went live dispatching calls for emergency services.

At the time, it was a fulfillment of a sales tax measure to fund the 911 System that was passed by Wright County voters on Nov. 4, 2014.

Over time, 911 calls were dispatched first for Mountain Grove and later for Mansfield.

As of 8 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 2, all 911 calls are officially running through Wri-Comm 911, this after they officially took over the dispatch services for both the Wright County Sheriff’s Office and Hartville Police Department.
