Vivian I. Ridenour (nee Shannon), formerly of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at the age of 99. Loving wife of the late J.D.; devoted mother of Carole (Tom) Allen, of Slinger, Wisc.; cherished grandmother of Katherine (Scott) Grant, of Grayslake, Ill.; and Elizabeth (Brian) Gunia, of Severna Park, Md.; beloved great-grandmother of Evelyn, Vivian and Bridget. Further survived by other relatives and friends.
Vivian was born in Drury. on March 24, 1922. After World War II, Vivian and J.D. moved to California for 50 years and came back and settled in Springfield. A private burial of J.D. and Vivian will took place at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield.
