Several area residents attended the 53rd Annual Vanzant Picnic held the evenings of both Friday, July 10 and Saturday, July 11 in Vanzant.
The event featured several musicians, raffles, games for kids of all ages, and several food items that included funnel cakes, brats, hamburgers and more.
A special handmade quilt made by Pat Loomis was raffled off.
The Eastern Douglas County Volunteer Fire Department was listed as the main sponsor for this year’s event.
