Two men lost their lives in a tragic one vehicle accident that took place at 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7 at the 58-mile marker on I-44 in Lawrence County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) Crash Report, Curtis Cummins, 55, of Rogersville, was driving his 2000 GMC 7500 when the vehicle went off the roadway, struck a cable barrier then overturned down an embankment.
Both Cummins and his passenger, Marvin Olive, 62, of Macomb, were pronounced dead at the scene.
They were then transported to Lakin Funeral Home.
