Travis C. Gauch

Travis C. Gauch, son of Tyrone Gauch and Tanya Emery, was born Oct. 17, 1995, in Wentzville, and passed away Aug. 13, 2020, in Springfield. He was 24 years, 9 months and 27 days of age. Travis enjoyed the outdoors and anything that had to do with nature. He loved fishing and hunting and he spent a lot of time in the woods and at the river, enjoying both. He also loved spending time getting together with friends. He earned his HiSET diploma and was able to pursue a degree in agriculture, which he greatly enjoyed. Travis was preceded in death by his grandfather, William “Bill” Gauch; his step-father, Tony Emery; and his grandfather, Burla Stout.

He is survived by his father and stepmother, Tyrone and Patty Gauch, of Center; his mother, Tanya Emery, of Mountain Grove; one brother, Tyler Gauch (Sarah Greenwood,) of Macomb; two sisters, Katie Dill, of Camdenton, and Justice Gauch, of Warrenton; two step-sisters, Diana Sullivan and her husband, Billy, of Center, and Erica Coffman (Buddy Oberdahldolhof), of Ewing; grandparents, Ida Stout, of Mountain Grove; Roy and Norma Blackmon, of Lebanon; Christy and Charles Bloodgood, of Hull, Ill.; Diana Harris and Bruce Nicosia, of Hannibal; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends, who will miss him greatly. A Celebration of Life event for Travis Gauch was held Saturday, Aug. 22, 2020, at Austin Lake, Texas County. Cremation was under the direction of Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home, Mountain Grove.
