Tamara Jolene (Rabe) Cannon was born on Feb.24, 1958, in Gilman, Ill. to Robert K. and NerVella R. (Buechler) Rabe and passed away at the age of 62 on Jan. 13, 2021, at her home with family at her side after her struggle with cancer. She was baptized by Pastor B.F. Prange at Calvary Lutheran Church, Watseka, Ill., in March 1958.  She moved with her family in 1962 to Wisconsin Dells, Wisc., where she attended the Parochial school and was later confirmed in 1970 by Pastor Scheer at Trinity Lutheran Church of the Dells. In 1973, she moved with her parents and six sisters to Cabool. She attended Cabool High School and graduated from Mountain Grove High School with the Class of 1976. During high school and after graduation, she worked at the Dairy Kreme and then the Brown Shoe Factory in Cabool. On Feb. 27, 1976, she married Danny Tooley and to this union two children were born, Robert Raymond and Lacey Danyel. After living in Mountain Grove, she later moved to Springfield, where she lived for several years before moving to Branson. After sometime, she moved back to the Mountain Grove area and worked at the Lebanon hospital. She later moved to Willow Springs, to be closer to her daughter and worked at Wake Feed. During this time, she married Mike Cannon from Lynchburg in 2014. Tammy was baptized in the Lutheran church and was faithful until the end. She could touch any plant and it would sprout with life. She liked to sing, be outside helping with chores or lounging by the pool and loved to shop and go to thrift stores. Her most precious love was for her husband, her children and especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed every minute with them, as they would always put a smile on her face and bring joy to her heart. After some medical issues and seeing her doctor in 2019, they found cancer. In this short time, it took over her life until her passing.

She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Mike Cannon; her children, Robert Tooley; Lacey Wake and her husband, Shawn; Brandy Thomas and her husband, Joe; and Dustin Cannon and his wife, Kendra; her six sisters, Kandra Rabe; Debra Dotson; Denise Quessenberry and her husband, Mark; Cynthia Flanagan and her husband, Dale; Brenda Hass and her husband, Dave; and Michelle Fussner, and her husband, Tom; her step mother, Leola Rabe,;her grandchildren, Kalas, Makalyn, Emma, Shyanna, Kasin, Alexandra, Hannah, Clayton and Sarah; and a host of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other friends and relatives who will miss her. She will be thought of and missed, but not forgotten, by those who knew and loved her until we meet with her again in our Heavenly home.
