Sue Ann Johnson (nee Ault), age 75, of Florissant, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, July 15, 2020. She was born on Saturday, Dec. 2, 1944 in Mountain Grove, one of five children born to Leonard and Rosa (Stephenson) Ault. Sue graduated from Mountain Grove High School in 1962 and then earned a BS from Missouri Baptist School of Nursing. On June 15, 1965, she married the love of her life, Ellery Farmer Johnson, Jr. She worked as an Registered Nurse for 28 years at Christian Hospital Northeast and retired in 2002. In her younger days, she enjoyed bowling and then her interest turned to bridge, which she enjoyed playing with her friends at the Florissant Bridge Group. She was also a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of St. John. Most of all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Ellery Farmer Johnson, Jr.; and one brother, Kenny Ault. She is survived by two children, Sarah Lenore Johnson and Ellery Farmer Johnson III; two grandchildren, Charles Thomas Johnson and Ellery Farmer Johnson IV; one sister, Faye and husband James Elder; two brothers, Elmer and wife Marie Ault and James Ault (Karen Farris Craddock); sister-in-law, Leatha Ault; ; nieces, nephews, cousins and their families; special friends and neighbors including Rhonda Burden, Don and Synetta Daggs, and former co-workers at Christian Hospital Northeast.
