Norwood’s cross country runners recently competed in Van Buren. In the 9th Annual Van Buren Scenic Rivers Run, the Pirates’ best finish was Ben Smith, who took 37th place with a time of 18:41.70. Cameron Kelly (19:51.90), Gabe Todd (23:46.20) and Ridgley Cannon (27:07.30) also competed. Lydia Smith was the lone Lady Pirates runner and she took 40th place (24:54.90).
