Mountain Grove freshman Raylee Stenzel and her beach volleyball partner Halle Forester, of Strafford, recently earned a Top-10 finish in the USA National Beach Tour Junior Championships held in Fort Lauderdale, Fla, from July 10-15.
The pair placed ninth in the 14-and-Under Division. They also qualified for the 16-and-Under, where they would finish sixth in the Silver event and 42nd in the nation overall.
Their performance qualifies them for the 15-and-Under Division in the West Coast Junior Olympics to be held in Huntington, Calif.
Raylee is the daughter of Erik and Lori Stenzel, of Mountain Grove.
