Sharon Kathleen (Smith) Robertson, 80, Springfield, passed away on Aug. 25, 2021, at James River Care Center after a long illness.
She was born May 6, 1941, in Douglas County, Missouri, the daughter of William Lyman Smith and Lucile Mae Campbell. She was united in marriage to Dean A. Robertson on Sep. 3, 1960.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Janet (Robertson) Evans, and her grandson, Daniel Evans. Sharon is survived by her husband, Dean; her son, Gary Robertson and his wife, Robin; and their children, Kaitlyn and Zachary, of Republic; a son, Michael Robertson, of Springfield; a granddaughter, Karrie Evans Amarillas and her husband, Justin, of Ozark; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation services were held at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2021, at Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, Springfield. Burial took place at the Springfield Veterans Cemetery at 9 a.m., Friday, Sep. 3, 2021.
