Several Mountain Grove football players were recognized for their efforts during the 2020 season after receiving All-Conference honors as voted on by South Central Association (SCA) coaches.
Mountain Grove junior Brendan Rogers was the lone Panther to earn honors in two positions.
He earned second team All-SCA honors as a punter and was an honorable mention selection as a linebacker.
On the first team All-SCA squad, Mountain Grove senior Jaxon Holman was chosen for his work on the defensive line and senior Alex Casas was recognized for his play in the linebacker position.
Offensive lineman Hunter Means and wide receiver Hollen Glenn were also first team selections.
Second team honors were awarded to Mountain Grove Panthers’ defensive lineman Gaven Moore, senior linebacker Xander Goins and defensive back Todd Edwards.
Honorable Mention honors went to Mountain Grove running back Trenton Bevan as well as fellow wide receiver Drew Vaughan. Other Pathers honored included tight end Jase Dowden, offensive lineman Dallas Lee, kicker Hoyt Mathews and defensible lineman Wes Drew.
