Robert Edward Lax Wynn, 89, Niangua, was born Jan. 16, 1932 to Edward and Evelyn (Burtch) Lax in Yakima, Wash. Robert departed this life Sep. 26, 2021. He was proceeded in death by his parents; and sister, Patricia Walker. Robert is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn, of the home; four children, Robert Edward Wynn II and wife, Pamela, Springfield; Michael Wynn and wife, Janice, Shonomish, Wash.; Laura Cooley and husband, Tony, Marshfield; and Bruce Wynn and wife, Raquel, Lynnwood, Wash.; 11 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; as well as a host of family and friends. Robert proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy from 1951 to 1953. He was united in marriage to Marilyn Ann Jefferson on Feb. 26, 1956. To this union, four children were born. Robert and Marilyn lived in Washington for several years before retiring to Missouri. On Feb. 26, 2021, they celebrated 65 years of marriage. Robert enjoyed spending time with his family, woodworking and oil painting landscapes and animals. Cremation was entrusted to Day Funeral Home, Marshfield. No services are planned at this time.
