Randy Allen Dodson, son of the late Harold and Hazel (Farr) Dodson, was born Sep. 11, 1967, in Mansfield, and departed this life April 29, 2021, at his home in Mountain Grove.
He was 53 years of age. Randy worked as a landscaper for many years in Norwood, for the Plant Place. He was a man of few words, but had a wicked sense of humor and loved playing pranks on people. He was tough as they come and a loyal friend to many. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Besides his parents, Randy was preceded in death by an older brother, Harold Lynn Dodson. He leaves behind three sisters, Robin Bailey, of Mountain Grove; Pamela (Troy) Smith, of Zion, Ill.; and Tammy Hibdon, of Houston; two brothers, Gary Dodson, of Springfield, and William (Jennifer) Dodson, of Norwood; a life-long friend “brother,” Tim Allen, of Norwood; five nieces; five nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
