The America’s Pet Registry, inc. (APRI) and Top of the Ozarks Kennel Club in Mountain Grove presented three All-Breed Conformation Shows on June 20 at the Ozarks Family YMCA.

The 13th annual dog show event featured more than 70 entries from Missouri, Iowa and Kansas.

Entries included the groups toy, nonsporting, working, herding, hound, terror and sporting.

The event, which is normally held during the fourth weekend in March, was postponed to June due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

It was organized by the APRI’s Lena Cross.

Ron Rowland’s “Royal Windsor to the Throne” took Top Dog for the first show.

The dog is a Cavalier King Charles Cocker Spaniel.

Cindy Cross and her “Allisons’ the Legend Lives on at PDK,” a blue Great Dane, was named the Top Dog for the second show.

As for the third show, owner and handler Tera Barks had her English Cream Golden Retriever named “Hi Flying Thor” win the event.

The mascot for the APRI is Marly, a Bernese Mountain Dog owned by Lena Cross.

Devin Harris, of Ava, had his fawn great dane “GD of the Ozarks” (Nikka of KHF) earn a perfect score for the day of competition.
