Pearl Francis Farris

Pearl Francis Farris, daughter of Andy and Frances Swofford Seal, was born Nov. 16, 1931 in Sharon, Kan., and departed this life on Jan. 6, 2021 in her home at Macomb at the age of 89 years, 1 month and 20 days. She was preceded in death by her parents; the father of her children, Harold Farris; son, Lonnie Seal; two grandchildren, Lester Farris and Tammy Johnson; 11 brothers, Archie, Joe, Virgil, Delbert, Guy, Vernon, Hobert, Merlin, Gearl, Bobby and Norman Seal; four sisters, Kate Ogden, Bernice Freeman, Opal Kunze and Ruby Lansdown; and son-in-law, Wayne Stahl. Pearl is survived by her children, Ronnie Farris, of Mansfield; Connie Davis, of Macom; Clifford Farris, of Mansfield; Ronda Stahl, of Bakersfield, Calif.; Vonna Henley and husband, Larry, of Walnut Shade; and Ramona Farris, of Macomb; along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren. She was born in Kansas and moved with her family to Mansfield at the age of 5, where she lived the rest of her life. She was a devoted mother and homemaker and worked for Tobin-Hamilton Shoe Factory in Mansfield for many years before retiring in 1993.

     Pearl had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Liberty Faith Church and helped at the Liberty Faith Christian Academy for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting and reading. Pearl was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her long life, and rejoice that she is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Services were held on Monday, Jan. 11, 2021 at Liberty Faith Church in Norwood with Pastor Reg Kelly. Music was provided by the Liberty Faith Church Choir. Escorts were Chris Farris, Jarred Farris, Caleb Gibson, Jared Hutson, Luke Lawson and Clyde Maners. The final resting place was in the Mansfield Cemetery. Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Mansfield handled the arrangements.
