Any time a sports team falls in a championship game, both the coaching staff and players first try to process the emotions of a tough loss. The good teams then refocus and re-energize their efforts on making a return to the big game the following season with the hopes of getting over the hump to win a title.
Mountain Grove’s football program completed their trip back to the title game on Friday night after defeating Reeds Spring, 28-13, in the Class 3, District 6 semifinals.
