It appeared that the Mountain Grove Panthers were on their way to winning the Seymour Bank Winter Classic last Saturday as they were up 12 points near the end of the third quarter.
Unfortunately, the top seeded Chadwick Cardinals ended the quarter on a 7-0 run. They followed with a 13-5 run early in the fourth quarter and hit two late 3-pointers to take a lead they would not relinquish as the Panthers fell, 73-71.
