After finishing in third place last year in Class 2, there is a lot of optimism for a Norwood Pirates boys basketball team that has several returning players along with key incoming freshman.
Norwood has four of its starters returning, led by All-State senior guard Garrett Davault. The Evangel University signee returns after averaging 25.8 points and 5.2 rebounds per game a season ago.
Other key returners includes senior forward Justin Chadwell and his eight points per game, senior Max McGowan and second leading scorer, junior Gavin McGraw.
