Panthers football team works out for crowd under the lights
The Mountain Grove Panthers football team huddles up after holding a midnight practice on their football field Friday, Aug. 14 in front of several fans and family members who were awake with them for the annual tradition. Players performed warm-up drills then broke out into several drill sessions to help them work on critical skills that will benefit them during the upcoming fall season. The Panthers will not be playing in a Jamboree this season. They will play their season opener on Friday, Aug. 28 against Fair Grove at 7 p.m. Their next varsity home game won’t be until Friday, Aug. 21, when they are set to due battle with Willow Springs.
