The Annual Community Christmas Dinner is once again in the books as approximately 550 meals were served at this year’s event held inside the Mountain Grove High School Cafeteria. The dinner was served from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and it was provided in cooperation of churches, businesses and individuals within the Mountain Grove community.

Organizer Tami Kuster, who was assisted by Shirley Sartor, said there is no to thank everyone for their contribution.

“Behind the scenes is everyone from the people at the grocery store, who saved us boxes for deliveries, to those that donated money, to the (Mountain Grove High School) MGHS basketball team, to the many who prepared and brought in desserts, salads, deviled eggs, baked hams and all those that served, delivered meals, cut up hams, washed dishes, entertained us and on and on,” Kuster said. “It takes all of us and I know God put me in an amazing community.”

Kuster also said the group was extremely grateful for the donation of $1,000 made by the Mountain Grove Area Community Foundation.
