Michael Wayne “Mike’’ Sergent, 51, of Lebanon, died Monday, May 11, 2020, in Lebanon. He was born Aug. 31, 1968, in Santa Cruz, Calif. to Orville Wilson III and Patricia Lopp Sergent, who preceded him in death. On July 18, 2009, he married Charlotte Rae Williams. Mike was a member of the National Guard for several years prior to employment at Marathon Electric, Lowe Boats, as a field manager for U-Haul and Mid-State. He also enjoyed working with Dr. Moore at the veterinarian’s office. He was a Christian. Survivors include his wifeCharlotte; four daughters, Samanatha Woodruff and her husband David, Denessa Goodin and her husband Clint, and Chelsey Carpenter and her husband Christopher, all of Lebanon, MO, and Ashton Forbes and Brian Thompson of Marshfield, MO; a special son, Jax Sergent of the home; three sisters, Shawna Nyman of Buffalo, MO, Rebecca Flannery of Lebanon, MO, and Margie Hicks of Clinton, MO; twelve grandchildren, Anthony “Baby A.”, Koryee “Monkey Princess”, Lane “Little Man’, Layton, Chase, Peighton “P. Dog”, Gabriel “Gab Meister”, Jaci, Jacob, Laila, Sophia, Athena; several other relatives and friends Funeral services for Michael Wayne “Mike’’ Sergent will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2020, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Sam Price officiating. Burial will be in Phillipsburg Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel at their convenience Friday, prior to the services at 1 p.m. also on Friday to sign the guestbook or register online at shadelscolonialchapel.com. Under the guidelines of the CDC and the state of Missouri, the staff of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel ask that you observe social distancing and proper hygiene. Those guidelines will be monitored during the time to accommodate the family and their wishes.
