McCloskeys speech focuses on importance of Second Amendment

Posted

You could have heard a pin drop in the Norwood School multi-purpose room as Mark McCloskey described facing a mob of protesters outside his and Patty’s St. Louis home last summer.

He commented that it was the United States’ Second Amendment, “A well regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed,” which saved their lives and home.

The McCloskeys donated a signed-Second Amendment flag which was then auctioned off by the Wright County Republicans. Wayne Griswold of Douglas County was the high bidder.

Elvin Fisher and daughter, Linda Barr, of Fisher Feed and Farm Supply, produced magnificent ice cream using an early 1900s John Deere gasoline-powered machine, and thanks also to the best brownie and cookie bakers in Wright County.
