Mary Lou Beck

Mary Lou Beck was born June 3, 1938 in Greeley, Colo. to Elmo and Betty Wolfe and departed this life on Aug. 12, 2020 at her grandson’s home in Palm Coast, Fla. at the age of 82 years, 2 months and 9 days.

Mary Lou grew up and graduated high school in Ft. Lupton, Colo. She was first married to Max Arnold and they moved to California. And then to Darrell Beck and they lived in San Diego, Calif. She worked various jobs during her lifetime. Mary Lou moved to the Hartville area in 2000 to be close to her sister until her health began to fail a few months ago, at which time she moved to Florida to stay with her daughter. Mary Lou was a faithful member of the Rock Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, north of Norwood. She came to services as often as her health permitted. Mary Lou is survived by two sons, Blane and his wife, Dena, of Pennsylvania; Elmo and his wife, Carrie, of California; and one daughter, Tina, and her husband, Mark, of Palm Coast, Fla.; five granddaughters; one grandson; and seven great-grandchildren; one brother, David Wolfe and significant other, Lou Sutherland, of Colorado; and one sister, Catherine “Kate” Junge, of Hartville. She was preceded in death by her parents and one nephew, Gary Junge, of Hartville. Mary Lou was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She had a wonderful sense of humor and everyone enjoyed being around her. She will be missed by all.
