The Mansfield Lady Lions opened their season with a 66-43 win over Bakersfield.
Mansfield led 25-19 at halftime before outscoring Bakersfield, 36-24, to pull away for the season opening victory.
Logan Jones led the way for Mansfield with 16 points.
Meanwhile, Lauren Jones added 13 points for the Lady Lions.
Both Harleigh Hodges and Elly Williams scored six of their nine total points in the second half.
Haley Tripp helped Mansfield’s attack with eight points; Madalyn Ivy scored six points; Haven Tripp had three points; and Macie Tate sparked the Lady Lions’ offense with a third quarter basket.
