The MRTA Region 10 Fall Conference was held on Oct. 20 in Marshfield at the Assembly of God Church. Seven members of the Wright County Unit attended.
Registration and Refreshments started at 9 a.m.
At this time, entertainment and raffle tickets for the silent auction were purchased.
At 10 a.m., the meeting was called to order by Webster County Unit President Brenda Cologna.
The Head Table was introduced and committee chairman for Region 10.
The speaker of the conference was Maria Walden, Director of Legislative and Policy PSRS/PEERS.
After a catered luncheon Recognition of Units of Excellence and Distinguished retirees were recognized.
Wright County was one of eight units out of 11 receiving the Excellence Award in Region 10.
Karen Sinning had accepted the award for the Wright County Unit at the state meeting in Jefferson City in September.
DyAnna Shaver was recognized as the Distinguished Retiree from Wright County.
Martha Schatz, MRTA President-Elect, made several comments and announced that Wright County will host the Fall Region Conference in October 2022.
