Postmaster Travis Howard confirmed last week that it will still be another two to three weeks before the reopening of the Norwood Post Office.
The office has been closed since a storm ripped off the building’s roof in May.
With the contractor working at the facility up until a month ago, the United States Postal Services (U.S.P.S.) is now working quickly to get the location back to being fully operational.
“(We are) working as fast as we can to get service continued to that community,” Howard noted.
“We have every intention of reopening.” Howard also said the Store Manager Ronnie Kemper is “eager to get back to his customers.”
