Latest news from the HGCC

We have such a great community and are blessed to have so many who play a part in our success in serving the needs of our clients. We have had a tumultuous few weeks, beginning with our air conditioner failing. A big thank you goes out to Mike Schmidt with Schmidt Heating and Air who promptly came to our rescue on what turned out to be one of the hottest days of the year. Among other things our after hours FOB system malfunctioned, and the computer used to manage that system also had a critical failure. The FOB issue has been resolved now. A huge thank you goes out to Catrina Long who became aware of the situation and willingly and cheerfully donated a new computer to HGCC. We truly do appreciate the generosity and it will be a huge help in managing and updating our day to day operations.

Our member of the month is Jason Ward. Jason is a dedicated member who rarely misses a day coming to the gym. He recently stepped up to a volunteer position at the HGCC two days a week, as well as helping with issues that come up and filling in when needed if others are out. His friendly personality, caring attitude and upbeat spirit is a welcome addition to our team and staff.

It is with great pleasure that we announce as of Aug. 1, 2021, we are accepted and enrolled into Renew Active through United Healthcare. If you or anyone you know is a member of UHC be sure to check out this new opportunity. If you have United Healthcare you may be eligible to a full membership at our facilities at no cost to you. Call today at 417-741-1070 or watch our Facebook page for updates.

We also want to mention that we have a fundraiser on Facebook until Sep. 2 to raise funds to help cover recent unexpected operating expenses. Please feel free to donate or just share that would help so much!
