Larry Dean Wymer, 80, of Jefferson City, passed away on Tuesday, Sep. 21, at his home. Larry was born on July 24, 1941, in Norwood, to Emery Ernest Wymer and Ollie Alberta Ryan. He married Glenda Branson on Dec. 12, 1984, and they celebrated 36 years of marriage. Larry was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Larry graduated high school in the class of 1959 in Mountain Grove. He was very proud to say that he worked 35 years for Fabick and Company, Jefferson City, starting as a janitor in the shop and worked his way up to Sales Representative. Larry was also a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. He loved his family and his many animals. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Emery Ernest Wymer; his mother, Ollie Alberta Ryan; a sister, Jerlene Wymer Allen; and three brothers, Bert Clayton Wymer, Gary Ernest Wymer and Texas James Wymer. He is survived by his wife, Glenda; two daughters, LaDonna (Mike) Gazaway and Debi (Steve) Douglas; grandchildren; great-granddaughter; four nieces; brother-in-law and sister-in-law; his dog, “Winston”; and countless friends.A celebration of life will be at a later date.
