Lana married Gordon Kinser and he preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her parents; a son, David Kinser; and a sister, Vicky Kuestersteffen. Lana grew up in Ozark, but after moving to Hartville, that was always home to her; even after moving to Springfield in 2017. Lana is survived by her children, Matthew “Matt” Kinser and his wife, Kathleen, of Bristol, Tenn.; Andrea King and her husband, Bryan, of Fredonia, Ky.; Elizabeth “Betsy” Kilfoy and her husband, Jay, of Springfield; and Josh Kinser and his wife, Lynn, of Clay, Ky.; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Jane Tinker, of Sparta; a brother, Robert Rhodes, of Ozark; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends. Lana was a gifted painter, she loved to read and travel. She enjoyed learning about different countries and she even visited many of the countries she studied. Lana was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. We celebrate her life and will always cherish the many special memories she created. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Rescue One would be appreciated  and can be made through Holman-Howe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 236, Hartville, Mo. 656676.
