The Norwood Lady Pirates softball team opened their fall season with an early impressive victory over Walnut Grove. Norwood, in their home opener, beat the Lady Tigers, 4-1. Before that win, they traveled to rival Dora and left with a tough 10-5 loss. On Sep. 3, the Lady Pirates were unable to get the win over Seymour. They fell to that group of Lady Tigers, 10-9.
