The Mountain Grove Lady Panthers volleyball team are starting to put some things together as they continue to take big steps forward for the program.
Last week, they picked up their third match victory of the season when they shutout Hollister, 3-0. (No further information made available at press time.)
They followed that victory by taking on a six win squad from Strafford.
In a competitive match, the Lady Indians won the first two games, 25-18 and 25-22.
The Lady Panthers’ persistence and solid play came together in the third set, in which they won, 25-20.
Strafford pulled away in game four, 25-12.
In the JV match, both teams went back and forth throughout the contest. The Lady Panthers JV won game two, 28-26, but lost game one, 25-16, and game three, 15-13.
