Before last week’s Scallywag Tournament, an improving Mountain Grove Lady Panthers basketball team knew they might have a good chance to get their first win of the season if they could just put together a solid game from start to finish.
Fortunately, they did just that in a 53-22 win over host Norwood in the Consolation semifinals. In their other two games, they lost to eventual champion Willow Springs, 51-33, and Gainesville, 68-51.
