The Mansfield Lady Lions entered last week’s Scallywag Invitational as the No. 1 seed. Unfortunately, an ACL injury to All-State senior Jada Henry was too much to overcome in the three game stretch as they left Norwood with just one victory and a fourth place finish.
Their lone victory in the tournament came in the opening round against Rush, a team they were tied with at 7-7 at the end of the first quarter.
Mansfield would go on to outscore them 33-17 the rest of the way for a 40-24 win.
