The Mansfield Lady Lions volleyball team struggled in two losses last week to Chadwick and Fordland.
On Oct. 4, they traveled to Chadwick and left with a three set loss to the Lady Cardinals. Chadwick won 25-20, 25-16 and 25-13.
One night later, they hosted Fordland, but lost in three sets.
Mansfield lost 25-20, 25-23 and 25-9.
Fordland’s win was just their fifth victory of the season.
Mansfield will travel to Ava on Oct. 18 before hosting Billings in the season finale on Oct. 19.
The Lady Lions are the No. 4 seed in the Class 2, District 9 Tournament and will face Thayer at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 21.
The game will be played at Houston.
A win gives them a semifinals contest with No. 1 seed Licking on Oct. 23 at 3 p.m.
