She was united in marriage to Walton Grant “Dub” Hennigh on Aug. 1, 1964, and to this union four children were born. After Walton’s passing on Oct. 26, 1995, she was united in marriage to Carl Leo Grabher on June 21, 1997 and they have shared the last 24 years together. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Gail Leeann Plain and Tonya Nicole Davis; her parents; brother, Mickey Cook; and sister, Nancy Davis.

Karen is survived by her husband, Carl; daughter, Tina Terry and husband, Derek, of Seymour; son, Robert Dean Hennigh, of Seymour; step-daughters, Cristy Grabher, of Seymour; Kesha Ipock and husband, Dewayne, of Fair Grove; and Missy Grabher, of Seymour; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two more great-grandchildren soon to be born; brother, Earl Cook and wife, Sandra, of San Antonio, Texas; sisters, Peggy Haggard and Judy Frantz and husband, Mike, all of Seymour; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

She was born in Springfield and lived all her life near Seymour. Karen was a hard worker, she was a manager for several 7-11 Stores in Springfield, Cox Clinic manager in Seymour, Cox North Pediatric Clinic manager and the last 22 years was the owner, manager and bookkeeper for Seymour Tire Shed.

Karen made a profession of faith in Christ many years ago and was a member of the Seymour Freewill Baptist Church where she was the treasurer for over 20 years. In her spare time, she liked to travel, read, do crossword puzzles and play solitaire on her phone. But what she loved to do the most was spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Karen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and a caring neighbor and friend.

Though not ready to let her go, we take great comfort in knowing she is in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was Carl’s wife, lover, and best friend.
