Izaiah Isrrael Ruiz, son of Gabriel and Danielle (Dage) Ruiz, was born Jan. 5, 2012, in Houston, Texas, and was tragically taken Oct. 3, 2021, near his home in Mountain Grove. He was 9 years, 8 months and 29 days of age. Izaiah loved baseball, football and any sport he could join. He also loved to play Fortnite with many of his friends online. Izaiah had a laugh that will be missed. He never met a stranger and would make friends everywhere he went. He was loved by all. Izaiah was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, James R. Maynard; grandmother, Penny Ruiz; grandpa, Robert Valdivia; cousin, Isaiah Dage; and his dog, Bella. Izaiah is survived by his parents, Gabriel and Danielle Ruiz; siblings, James Maynard, Alyonnah and Gabriel Ruiz; maternal grandfather, Timothy Dage; and maternal grandmother, Jessica Kane; great-grandmother, Donna Maynard; uncles, Josh Dick, T.J. Dage and Ramon Ruiz; aunt, Crystal Bender; the Madera family; and many cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
Memorial services for Izaiah Ruiz will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021, in the Mountain Grove High School Arena. Services are under the direction of the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home of Mountain Grove.
