Harvest Grow Supply opens in Hartville

Posted

In an effort to assist customers traveling from central and northern Missouri to their 6,000 sq. ft. Springfield location, Harvest Grow Supply, LLC decided to open their second location in Hartville.

Owners Daniel Jalaly and David Lee opened in Springfield close to three years ago and began selling hydroponic and other garden supplies in Hartville at the beginning of June.

Since customers travel all over for their products, opening a location in Hartville is likely to help the local economy.

“One hopes that having the store there will drive more traffic to the City of Hartville and create more sales for the city,” said Jalaly, who previously opened and operated commercial cannabis companies in Colorado.

The focus of the products is on hydroponics, which allows farmers more control of the plants they are eating in knowing what is in the soil.

Hartville’s store manager Brett Long said education has been key for his customers visiting the location.

Long said he’s worked with many older farmers who are now able to grow plants taller, helping to make their farming experience more enjoyable and less painful. Long also owns the adjacent hardware store in Hartville with his wife, Janel Griffin. Harvest Grow Supply is open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Saturday.
