Hartville’s Fall Festival slated for Saturday

The 42nd Annual Fall Festival will be held on Saturday, Oct. 10 in Hartville. The event is organized by the Hartville Area Chamber of Commerce. The SouthWynns, a bluegrass/country band, will perform from 10-10:45 a.m. and 12-12:45 a.m. Other entertainment will feature Lindsay Founopolulos from 12:45-1:15 p.m. and Mansfield 14-year-old Mallory Sullivan and The Kilfoy Family from 1:15-2 p.m.

At 9 a.m., the Kids Carnival starts with inflatables and tickets will be on sale for a merchant’s drawing.

The Lions Club Car Show will be held at Lake Casador Park, starting at 9 .m.

A Best Decorated Pumpkin Contest and announcements will be made from 10:45-11 a.m. with pumpkins displayed along the main stage.

A Cutest Baby Contest follows from 11-11:15 a.m.

A Kids Costume Contest, will run from 11:15 a.m.-12 p.m. on the Wright County Courthouse lawn.

The Fall Festival Queen coronation will take place on the main stage from 2-2:30 p.m. A Pie Auction will start at the four-way intersection at 2:30 p.m.

The parade line-up starts at 2:30 p.m. followed by the 3:30 p.m. parade.

The merchant’s drawing’s grand prize winners will be announced at 4 p.m.
