The Hartville Area Chamber of Commerce has announced that they have officially canceled the Civil War Reenactment/Heritage Festival that had been rescheduled from this past April to Sep. 11-13. The decision was reportedly made after much discussion and consideration of the country’s current pandemic status.

The event has been postponed until the spring of 2021.

“More details will be released as they become available,” the Chamber said on their Facebook page.

The Chamber notes that any individuals or businesses wanting a refund for their donation or sponsorship are to request it in writing. The request should be mailed by the end of 2020 to the Hartville Area Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 307, Hartville, Mo. 65667.

The pulled pork fundraising event that was set for Aug. 1 to raise funds for the festival has also been postponed.
